How to arrive at CK2013 venue from Airport

As you can see in the "Conference Site" section of this webpage, CK2013 will be held at the "Residència d'Investigadors" that is located in downtown Barcelona (Hospital Street, 64) - pinpointed with a red tack in the map below -. Apart from going by taxi, you have these options to arrive at CK2013 venue coming from Barcelona Airport:

• Aerobus + Metro: Aerobus is an special bus service that connects both airport terminals to different places in Barcelona downtown. If your flight has landed in Terminal 1 you must use the Aerobus line A1. On the other side, if your flight has landed in Terminal 2, you must choose the Aerobus line A2. These buses leave every 5 minutes and take approximately 35 minutes to arrive at Barcelona downtown. Nearest stop from both lines to CK2013 venue is "Pl.Catalunya" stop (pinpointed in the map below with yellow markers). From this point, you can go walking to the venue (10 minutes appoximately), or you can change to Metro Line 3 (Green Line) in order to go from "Catalunya" metro stop to "Liceu" metro stop (pinpointed with a green marker in the map). • Suburban railway + Metro: There is a suburban railway service (called "Rodalies de Catalunya") that leaves every 30 minutes from airport Terminal 2 to Barcelona city. If your flight has landed in Terminal 1 you can go to Terminal 2 by taking a free shuttle bus that connects both terminals. Suburban railway line from airport Terminal 2 to Barcelona is the line "R2 Nord" (the only line coming from the Airport). The nearest stop of this line to CK2013 venue is "Barcelona-Passeig de Gràcia" stop. This stop is pinpointed with a pink marker in the map below. Until this point, the suburban railway takes 25 minutes approximately. Once there, you must change to Metro Line 3 (Green Line) in order to go from "Passeig de Gràcia" metro stop to "Liceu" metro stop (pinpointed with a green marker in the map). The same ticket is valid for suburban railway and metro services.
