Description
The Mobile Robotics group at "Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial (IRI), CSIC-UPC" is seeking for a PhD student to work under the framewok of the project "ColRobTransp”(DPI2016-78957-R) coordinated by Prof. Alberto Sanfeliu.
The candidate will work in developing models for Robot-Human task collaboration in outdoors, where the robot has to cooperate with a human to find the right trajectory avoiding obstacles in a street with temporal obstacles. The candidate will able to develop new task, path and search planning cooperative methods, including perception issues.
A four-year PhD position will be fully covered by an FPI grant under the Spanish Government Call "Ayudas para contratos predoctorales para la formación de doctores 2017".

Requirements
Qualifications: | The candidate is expected to have a master in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field. |
Knowledge: | Good background in robotics, computer vision and/or artificial intelligence. The applicants should have skills in programming preferably in Matlab, C++ and ROS. |
Languages: | Fluent in English. |
Other: | Must fulfill the requirements to enroll in the Doctoral programme in Automatic Control, Robotics and Computer Vision. |
