ABOUT THE POSITION
A four-year PhD position under the MdM Strategic Research Programme will be fully covered starting in the first trimester of 2018.
The PhD thesis will be supervised by Dr. Alberto Sanfeliu (Mobile Robotics Group) and Dr. Pablo Jiménez (Perception and Manipulation Group).

ABOUT THE THESIS
The collaboration between a robot and a person involves knowing the tasks that each of them will perform, knowing how each one will perform the task and find a shared common plan. For this reason, both the robot and the person create their own plan to tackle the task. This plan has to be shared, readjusted and finally executed by both of them.

The objective of the thesis project is to develop a new model of task planning, which allows to make a plan shared between the robot and the person who is susceptible of modification, synchronization and inline adaptation.
