Adrian Penate-Sanchez received the MSc degree in computer science and the degree of advanced studies in Cybernetics and Telecommunications from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 2010. In 2011, he joined the Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial in Barcelona as a PhD candidate of the Spanish National Scientific Research Council under the supervision of Juan Andrade Cetto and Francesc Moreno Noguer. In 2012 and 2013 he stayed several weeks at Idiap Research Institute under the supervision of François Fleuret. In 2014 he joined the Computer Vision group at Toshiba's Cambridge Research Laboratory for a 5 month internship.
