Brief History |

Leonel Rozo was born in Bogota, Colombia. He received a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Nueva Granada Military University in 2005 (Bogota, Colombia). Then, he worked for a Forecourt Services Company as Project Engineer during 2006 and after that obtained his Master of Science degree in Automatics Control and Robotics at Polytechnic University of Catalonia - UPC in 2007 (Barcelona-Spain). Now he's studying a Phd on Automatics control, Robotics and Vision in the same university with the support of a JAE scholarship provided by the "Spanish National Research Council-CSIC" and he works as researcher for the "Institut de Robotica i informatica Industrial - IRI", Barcelona, Spain. From april, he is a visiting researcher in the Learning and Interaction group at the advanced robotics department of the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) under the supervision of Sylvain Calinon.
