ECMR was established in 2003, merging two conferences, EUROBOT and SIRS (Symposium on Robotics Systems). The previous ECMR meetings were held in Radziejowice, Poland (2003); Ancona, Italy (2005); Freiburg, Germany(2007); Mlini/Dubrovnik, Croatia (2011); and Örebro, Sweden (2011). The 6th ECMR will be held in Barcelona, Spain.
