ECMR is a biennial European forum, internationally open, that allows roboticists throughout Europe to become acquainted with the latest research accomplishments and innovations in mobile robotics and mobile human-robot systems.

Location and Dates

ECMR'13 was held in Barcelona from Sept 25 to Sept 27th, 2013.

Invited Talks

We are happy to announce that ECMR'13 will have invited talks by:
- Paul Newman from the Oxford Mobile Robotics Group at University of Oxford
- Jamie Paik from the Reconfigurable Robotics Lab at EPFL.

Scope

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit their work in most aspects of mobile robotics research and machine intelligence, including (but not limited to) the following topics:

• Multi-sensor fusion
• Localization
• Map building
• Navigation
• Active perception
• Behaviour-based robotics
• Path and task planning
• Learning and adaptation
• Robot vision
• Human-robot interaction
• Cognitive robotics
• Experimental evaluation and benchmarking
• 3D sensing
• Applications for mobile robotics in land, water, air, underground, and space.

Paper Format

Contributions should be in 6-page two-column IEEE Conference style. Papers presented at ECMR will appear in IEEEXplore. As in previous editions, expanded and revised versions of selected papers will be submitted to a Special Issue of Robotic and Autonomous Systems.
