Submissions

ECMR'13 submission site is closed. Submissions will be handled through CMT (Conference Managament Toolkit). To submit your paper, please follow these guidelines:

  1. Go to ECMR'13 submission site: https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/ECMR2013/Default.aspx

  2. If you are not registered for ECMR13 at CMT, click in "Sign up here" and register.
    Please note: Usernames for different conferences at CMT are not linked, so if you already have an author or reviewer account for another conference at CMT (CVPR, ICCV, etc), you still need to register for ECMR13. However, if you are a PC member of ECMR, you already have an account.
  3. When you login to ECMR13 CMT site for the first time, you will be asked to indicate your conflict domains. PC members, make sure to change your role from Reviewer to Author for a submission.
  4. Submit your contribution by clicking on "Create a new Paper Submission"
  5. Insert the title and abstract of your contribution. Next, select all the authors involved by indicating their email in the CMT system
  6. Select one primary subject area and at most 5 secundary areas. The reviewers will be assigned according to these areas. Upload your contribution (pdf file max 3MB). and click "Submit".
  7. By clicking on "Manage Submissions" you can check your submitted files and also to indicate reviewer conflicts on interest if needed.

Guidelines

Paper style

Submissions are solicited for in 6 pages A4, two-column, IEEE style. All accepted papers, oral and poster, will be included in IEEE Explore.

No-show policy

One author for each accepted paper is expected to be registered and present the paper at the conference. No-shows will not be included in the final proceedings.

Poster format

Recommended poster dimension is DIN A0 (1189mm height x 841mm width).

Extra pages

Regular papers are 6 pages long. A maximum of two extra pages is allowed. Overlength page fee is 50 EUR/page. Please, indicate the number of extra pages in the registration form.

PDF Compliance

To check the .pdf for IEEE compliance log into IEEE pdf eXpress at http://www.pdf-express.org with conferenceID: ecmr13x

Create a new user with your email unless your email is already registered from another conference. Upload your paper and you will receive a mail with either errors or with a confirmed pdf. Upload this confirmed pdf to the ECMR'13 paper submissions system at cmt as the final version. You will also need to type in the "Creation Date" and "Paper ID" from the confirmation email into the submissions system.

Templates

You can prepare your paper using the available LaTEX or Microsoft Word templates and following these paper preparation instructions . Make sure to have the latest templates and do not change the formatting in any way.

The poster spotlight template is available here. All poster paper speakers must prepare a short spotlight talk with a duration of 5 minutes, and a maximum of 5 slides, including the title slide. Slides exceding this length will be deleted to ensure timely presentation times. Please submit your poster spotlight slides to ecmr13@iri.upc.edu by Sept. 15.
