Open Positions at IRI
- ALL 3: Learning cognitive models for assistive wearable robots. [Locations: CAR (Madrid) & IRI (Barcelona)].
Supervisors: Adrià Colomé (IRI) and Juan Moreno (CAR). They are joining efforts to address the use of variable impedance approaches and adaptive controllers in terms of adaptability for wearable robotic exoskeletons. The objectives of this position are (1) Innovative solutions for monitoring muscular fatigue during fusion of robot actuation with electrostimulation, and (2) Combination of more classical sensory inputs (motion, joint forces, electromyography, etc) with such new monitored indicator.

Position Details
- Contract Duration: 2 years
- Salary: Gross salary of €41,213.44 per year
- Start Date: Between June 20, 2025, and September 1, 2025

Requirements

Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence (or related fields) by the application deadline. Researchers who have defended their thesis but have not yet received the formal degree are also eligible.
Other: Mobility Rule: Applicants must not have resided or conducted their main activities in Spain for more than 12 months within the last 3 years prior to the deadline.
