Project Description

The project unites leading Spanish, Italian, French and U.S. institutions to transfer multi-disciplinary knowledge and long experience in hydrogen energy systems, encompassing aspects such as real-world operation and monitoring, automatic control, thermodynamic modelling, benchmarking and fault-diagnosis. The main objective the proposed consortium is developing a flexible optimizationbased control design methodology applicable to diverse real-world HRS scenarios, fostering efficient resource utilization and operational effectiveness (ODS 7.3, ODS 12.2). Additionally, the project explores renewable distributed hydrogen infrastructure constraints (ODS 7.1), promotes sustainable development from current infancy (ODS 9.1), and advocates optimization-based and integrated schemes with relevant regulatory bodies (ODS 13).
