The M.I.L.E. workshop explores human–robot interaction under partial alignment, uncertainty, strategic behavior, and conflicting goals.
The M.I.L.E. workshop will be organized as a full-day event combining invited talks, peer-reviewed contributions, interactive sessions, and a moderated panel discussion. The format is designed to stimulate both technical exchange and community-building.
We solicit short papers (2–4 pages, IEEE format) presenting original research, position papers, or ongoing work related to misalignment in human–robot interaction and multi-agent systems.
Submissions will be peer-reviewed by a technical program committee composed of experts in HRI, adaptive robotics, and learning-based methods.
Accepted contributions will be presented as posters, each preceded by a short spotlight talk (2–3 minutes). Depending on the number of submissions, a limited number of papers will be selected for oral presentation based on relevance and coverage of workshop themes.
Papers must follow the standard IEEE conference format and be 2–4 pages in length. Submissions can be made via the workshop submission site: https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=mileroman26 .
All accepted abstracts and papers will be made available on the workshop website. We also plan to organize a special journal issue, inviting authors of relevant workshop contributions and opening participation to a broader audience beyond workshop attendees.
