The M.I.L.E. workshop is organized by an interdisciplinary team of researchers working at the intersection of human–robot interaction, machine learning, motion and task planning, cognitive modeling, and socially intelligent systems. The organizers bring together complementary expertise spanning robotics, artificial intelligence, and human-centered design, with a shared interest in understanding and enabling robust interaction under conditions of uncertainty, partial alignment, and dynamic human behavior. Through this collaboration, the team aims to foster a research community that bridges technical methods with insights from cognitive science and social psychology to advance the study of real-world human–robot interaction.
