Research on HRI has grown substantially, due to modern advances in technology, materials, and systems of perception and control. Nevertheless, this topic is still new in comparison to other research areas in robotics. This workshop paves the way for a near future wherein HRI in houses, streets, or retail environments in order to perform specific tasks. We strongly believe, this workshop is needed to give the researches the opportunity to present their current work on this topics.
