The Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial (IRI), CSIC-UPC is seeking for an experienced machine learning engineer with a solid mathematical background to work on a the national project "GREAT: Beyond Graph Neural Networks: Joint graph topology learning and graph-based inference for computer vision" involving machine learning, deep learning and computer vision.

Responsibilities:
- Implement and validate novel machine learning algorithms
- Optimize deep neural networks


The engineer will work part-time under a contract with the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). The duration of the contract will be four months (renewable until June/July 2022) starting in January/February with a gross salary of 835 per month.

Possibility to combine with a master thesis in the IRII on a closely related topic.
