Description

The Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial (IRI), CSIC-UPC is seeking for a research engineer to work on a research project focused on unsupervised deep learning, including self-supervised and deep metric learning, for automatically understand activities in videos

We expect excellent programming skills (PyTorch), deep interest in machine learning, deep learning and Computer Vision.


She/he will work full time (or part-time) under a contract with the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and will collaborate with the Perception & Manipulation group.

The contract will start in October 2023.

We offer:
- Possibility to publish some of the work in top-tier computer vision conferences
- Work together with experienced computer vision team in IRI
- Salary in accordance with CSIC salary scales
- Possibility to work part-time if enrolled in a master

Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master in Computer Science/Mathematics, Electric engineering or similar.
Knowledge: Familiarized with neural networks and Python coding
Languages: Fluent in English
