Open Positions at IRI
- ALL 16: Integration of Sant Solving and Machine Learning. [Locations: IIIA (Barcelona) & IRI (Barcelona)]
Supervisors: Felip Manyà (IIIA) and Guillem Alenyà (IRI). The specific challenge addressed by this project is solving large-scale combinatorial problems by integrating machine learning techniques into the realm of SAT/MaxSAT solving. Additionally, there is the challenge of defining suitable encodings for practical scheduling and planning problems in the domain of assistive robotics, and solving them with the resulting solvers.

Position Details
- Contract Duration: 2 years
- Salary: Gross salary of €41,213.44 per year
- Start Date: Between June 20, 2025, and September 1, 2025

Requirements

Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence (or related fields) by the application deadline. Researchers who have defended their thesis but have not yet received the formal degree are also eligible.
Other: Mobility Rule: Applicants must not have resided or conducted their main activities in Spain for more than 12 months within the last 3 years prior to the deadline.
