Unnikrishnan Raveendran Nair was born in Thiruvanathapuram, India. He got his Bachelors in Electrical and Electronics from Kerala University ,India in 2011 and later worked for two years in Indian oil. He completed his Masters in Power Electronics and Drives from Aalborg University, Denmark in 2015. Afterwards, he worked as Research Assistant at Aalborg University. He started his PhD in January 2017 at IRI working in INCITE project on Control and management of storage elements in micro-grids.
