Description

The project consists of the development of automatic control methodologies to improve the performance of fuel cell system, in their use as a source of energy in mobile social or healthcare robots. The objectives are the design of new high-level and low-level control systems that solve the main challenges to these types of energy conversion devices: the increase of energy efficiency and of useful life while outperforming the state of the art energy supply systems in terms of energy density (autonomy).

The work is under the scope of the following projects:
