Gabriela Cembrano is researcher (científica titular) of CSIC at IRI. She received her MSc and PhD degrees in Industrial Engineering and Automatic Control from UPC. Her main research area is modelling, supervision and control of complex systems and critical infrastructure, with a specific application in water systems. She has been the leader of several national and European projects with industrial collaboration in this field. She has also been a Scientific Advisor to Cetaqua from 2007 to 2024.
